COFFEE GRIND SK8
Old skaters supporting young skaters

COFFEE GRINDS
Giving back, sharing the stoke, passing on the culture.
Remember when skating was dangerous? When we had to sneak into places to skate? Or got kicked out of the best spots? Had to run from cops/store owners/angry people? When we had to wear shirts that literally said Skateboarding is Not a Crime?
Not so much anymore. Our experience isnt the same for kids today. Today, cities build massive modern parks. Rec programs teach and support. It's on TV and it's even in the f$#&ing Olympics!
But, even with all that progress...skating is still for the kids that looks at things a little differently. It's a still got it's rebellious streak. It's still not always looked on as a "positive" by many of the adults in a kid's life.
Coffee Grinds is group of old school skaters who want to help the kids of today. Each chapter has a small membership fee and puts on at least one fundraiser a year. All proceeds go to providing scholarships or supporting kids that could use some encouragement from adults and validate the path they've chosen
